West Coker CofE VC Primary School

'All Life's Strands Entwined'

Uniform Information

Uniform is worn at West Coker C of E VC Primary School and children are encouraged to take pride in their appearance. It is important that all items are clearly labelled with the child's name. The school cannot be held responsible for any lost property. If, however, children lose any personal items they are requested to report it to their class teacher in the first instance. Enquiries about lost property not found in class can be made to the school office.

We do not wish your child to wear jewellery to school. However, any child who has pierced ears should wear sleepers or studs which should be removed for PE, games and swimming to avoid the possibility of the item becoming caught and causing an injury to the wearer or another child. Not wearing jewellery at school will also prevent the possibility of items going astray and avoid any upset that may arise.

child will grow in confidence as a successful learner, valuing the achievements and wisdom of others. We value, and place an emphasis on, the importance of developing the 'whole child'. We prepare children to be conscientious, well-equipped citizens of the future, through our roots in the Core Christian Values and our ethos of collaboration. We teach children how these values, rooted in the Christian story, are relevant to their modern lives and are at the heart of everything we do.
