Teaching Assistant
From Grade 15 Point 3 to 4 depending on experience
8.30am till 12.30pm Term time only.
20 hours per week including a daily lunch duty.
An exciting opportunity has come up at our small village school to appoint a enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to become part of our friendly and supportive team.
The successful candidates will be supporting children in Key Stage 1
We are looking for someone:
- Who is calm, flexible and imaginative.
- To work as a key worker for a child with additional needs
- Has good interpersonal skills and is able to use their initiative as well as working well in a team.
- Has a good level of English, Maths and IT skills.
- Early Years experience is desirable
This role will be classroom-based with the successful candidates taking direction from the class teacher and SENCo to provide high quality support to small groups of children and 1:1 individuals.
A willingness to undertake the following training is essential:
- Children Protection and Prevent Training
- First Aid Training
- Team Teach
- Intimate care
